Christian Furr
Christian Furr became the youngest artist to have ever officially painted Queen Elizabeth II, when in 1995 – at the age of twenty eight – at Buckingham Palace. The portrait hangs at the Royal Overseas League in St James, London.
Recent Projects
Portrait of Thomas and Melissa van Straubenzee unveiled at Chelsea Arts Club, collaboration with neon artist Chris Bracey on the “Staying Alive” collection, and curation of the inaugural “Liverpool Love” art exhibition at the New Museum of Liverpool in 2012.
Recognition
In 2004, received an AoC Gold Award at the House Of Commons.
Biography
Born in Heswall, Wirral in 1966. Resides in London with wife Emma and three daughters.
